Gonzalo Duque was an inspiration to so many people in different parts of the world. For those who did not know my dad, he was an exceptional husband and father. He was devoted to our family and he was a wonderful Catholic and loved Jesus and The Blessed Mother. Unfortunately he passed away in 2014 due to stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It was due to genetics, and he fought until his last breath on this earth. He left my mother a widow and with 3 young daughters. I was 15 at the time and my youngest sister was 8. This business was the only source of income for my family. He put in so many hours, blood, sweat, and tears so he could put food on the table. I was very young at the time, and he taught me some things here and there. He had so much faith in this product and was an honest man. He knew this had the potential to make other car owners to be happy with their car presentation. “I am making liners all the time and will do so for a very long time to come!” This is the kind of mentality my father had and he wanted his business to outlive him. For 6 years the business was on hold, and now this is the legacy my father left for my sisters and mother and I. I thank God for the opportunity I have to continue his legacy and provide people the hoodliners they need. I know he is happy with me continuing his hoodliner business. I thank all of the loyal customers who have seen my fathers cancer updates and continue to send me warm messages, it does make me extremely happy to see what a tight knit community this is and I thank you all for welcoming me to it!
